Privacy, in plain English

The short version

• No accounts, no sign-ups and no ads on this website.
• No tracking or advertising cookies.
• Videos only load from YouTube when you press play.
• If you email us, we use your email only to reply.

Videos

Episodes are hosted on YouTube. On this website we use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), and nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play. Once you do, YouTube’s own privacy policy applies to that video. Our YouTube channel is set as “made for kids”, which limits the data YouTube collects and switches off personalised ads and comments.

Hosting

This website is served by Cloudflare. Like any web server, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address to deliver pages and keep the site secure. We don’t use this information to identify or profile anyone.

Visitor counts

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they read, so we know which stories help families most. It uses no cookies, doesn’t follow you to other websites and doesn’t identify you. We only ever see totals.

Children

Mimi & Lumi is made for young children, but this website doesn’t ask for or collect any information from children. We ask grown-ups to look after any emails to us.

Emails

If you email [email protected], we keep your message only as long as we need it to reply and don’t share it with anyone else. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Questions
